DISTRACTION THEFT – LAS VEGAS, NV

On 10/19/17, at approximately 7:00 p.m., two suspects inquired about diamond rings. As the sales associate presented them with several items in the pullout case, the suspects asked questions very rapidly. Neither suspect spoke English and they were rushing the associate. The first suspect put his hand inside of the case and concealed a ring. After he concealed the ring, he moved the store’s stuffed animal over the open spot. The theft was not discovered until the next day. The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 20’s. He is 5’7” and 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black and white ball cap with a #3 on the left side. He also wore black and white striped shirt, white shorts and a plaid design. He had a heavy build. The second suspect is a Hispanic male in his late 30’s. He is 5’7” tall and weighs over 200 lbs. He has salt and pepper colored short hair. He was last seen wearing a blue button down shirt, jeans and brown boots. He was also wearing a silver bracelet on his right wrist.
