Footage of suspect captured after foot pursuit

Sapparo, Japan – On May 23, 2017 at approximately 5:20 p.m., a man attempted to rob a jewelry store. He can be seen on video jogging away from police.

Once the police officer encountered the suspect, both men grappled. The suspect was then taken into custody.
