GRAB AND RUN – PORTLAND, OR

On 3/17/17, at approximately 8:45 p.m., a suspect approached a mall kiosk and asked to see men’s rings. After he tried on a ring he stated he couldn’t take it off; it was stuck. The sales associate’s used jewelry and hand sanitizer in an attempt to remove it. At that point, the sales associate requested a mall janitor to help her escort the suspect to the restroom to remove the ring. The suspect then ran from the store. He was described as a 50-year-old Black male. He is 6’0” tall and has short hair. He was last seen wearing a purple Lakers jacket. He weighs 160 pounds.
