GRAB AND RUN – ST. LOUIS, MO

On 11/7/17, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a suspect asked to see solitaire earrings. The sales associate showed him a pair of earrings. The suspect said he would be right back, but he needed to talk to a friend who knew more about diamonds. After about five minutes, the suspect returned. He asked to see the same pair of earrings. The sales associate pulled them from the case and placed them in the gem scope to show the suspect. Once she removed the earrings from the gem scope, the suspect grabbed them and fled from the store. The suspect was described as a Black male in his late 20’s. He is 5’6” and weighs 135 lbs. He has a buzz cut and was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black hoodie and a black baseball cap.  If you have any information regarding this suspect’s identity, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
