JEWELER MISCONDUCT – DUBLIN, OH

On 4/16/18, 64-year-old Charles “Mike” Hush, was indicted by a grand jury on 36 counts of theft and one count of engaging in corrupt activity.

According to prosecutor Ron O’ Brien, Hush took jewelry and proceeds from 36 victims. The value of the jewelry exceeded $300,000. The victims told police that Hush took jewelry on consignment and he would not return their jewelry or pay them the proceeds from the sale. Hush’s jewelry store closed in 2016.
