SMASH AND GRAB – AUSTIN, TX

On 6/19/18, at approximately 11:05 a.m., two subjects immediately walked to the back of a jewelry store. One of the subjects pointed a gun at two sales associates. He then ordered them against the wall. He said, “if you don’t turn around no one will get hurt”. The associates complied. The subjects smashed six showcases. They removed all bridal merchandise and diamond bracelets. The subjects fled in a red 1990’s Jeep Cherokee. However, the getaway vehicle was found abandoned a few blocks away from the store.

The first subject is 5’9” and heavy set. He wore a gray hoodie black pants and a medical mask. The second subject is 5’8” and has a thin build.
