SNEAK THEFT – DICKSON CITY, PA

On 2/21/17, at approximately 7:15 p.m., a female suspect inquired about purchasing a cocktail ring. The suspect stated she wanted her sapphire ring to shine like a diamond, however, she said that she could not afford a diamond. The suspect was shown a ring and held it in her possession. The sales associate observed the suspect cupping her hand. The suspect put her sapphire ring back on and her other hand in her pocket. The suspect stated she would call the store later to inquire about pricing. She then left the store. The theft was not discovered until after the suspect left. The suspect was described as a 40-year-old female. She is 4’11 and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has short brown hair and was last seen wearing jeans and a black jacket.
