Moscow Police Arrest Woman Smuggling $142,000 in Diamonds

Moscow, Russia – On January 26, 2018, a 53-year-old Russian National was detained by police and security officers at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport.

The unnamed woman was trying to smuggle $142,000 worth of diamonds to Israel. The detainee is facing charges of illegal trafficking in precious metals and natural gems as well as smuggling strategically important goods, resources or objects of cultural value.
