GUNPOINT ROBBERY – TARBORO, NC

On 11/26/18, just before 5:00 p.m., an 84-year-old jeweler was assaulted and received two black eyes after being the victim of a robbery. The jeweler has been in business for more than 60 years. The gunman ordered him to lay on the floor. Once the subject went behind the counter, the 84-year-old jeweler put the robber in a headlock. The subject managed to escape with a box of jewelry. The subject was described as a light-skinned black male. He is 6 feet tall and has a slender build. He has black curly hair and was last seen wearing all-black clothing. The subject’s vehicle was described as a silver older model sedan, which may have been a Honda Accord.
