GUNPOINT ROBBERY – SARASOTA, FL

On 8/28/19, at approximately 2:09 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and approached the counter containing high-end watches. The subject requested to see watches. He looked at several and then placed them on a display case. As store employees placed the watches into the case, the subject lifted his shirt to reveal a gun tucked in his waistline. He ordered associates to give him high-end watches. He pointed at the watches he wanted and the employee handed him the watches. The subject then fled on foot. The subject is a heavy-set White male.
