On 11/12/19, at approximately 5:15 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and said he was looking for an engagement ring. He also said he would return the next day with his girlfriend. The subject then looked around and eventually went to the showcase containing diamond rings. He brandished a hammer, which he used to hit the top of the showcase. He reached in and removed 9 pieces of jewelry before leaving the store. The subject was described as a Black male in his mid-late 20’s. He is 6’1” and has a thin build.
