GRAB & RUN – ASHEVILLE, NC

On 1/27/20, at approximately 12:05 p.m., a male and female subject entered a jewelry store and inquired about engagement rings. The female subject left the store and the male subject remained. The male subject eventually expressed interest in gold necklaces. The sales associate was skeptical. She didn’t hand the necklace to the subject, but he reached out and grabbed it from her hand. He then fled from the store. The male subject was observed entering into a brown Ford Tempo. The vehicle’s driver’s side door window was taped up because it was broken.

Both subjects are white. The male is in his mid-twenties and has a stocky build. He also has brown hair in a ponytail. He has a scar on the right side of his forehead. The female subject is in his mid-twenties. She is very heavyset. She is 5’5”. If you have any information regarding this subject, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
