PAWN & JEWELRY SHOP OWNERS BRUTALLY BEATEN – BRONX, NY

On 6/1/20, the owners of a pawn & jewelry shop received an alert from their security company indicating there was movement in their store. The family then drove to their store, but they were unaware of the looting taking place in the area. When the family arrived, a crowd of looters ran off. As the owners went into the store to secure their remaining merchandise, a group of rioters came into the store with crowbars, bricks and lead pipes.

When the owners tried to escape in their car, the rioters pulled one of the female owners out of the car. During the attack, the owner suffered a broken leg and nose. Click here to see a news clip recounting this ordeal.
