ARMED ROBBERY – CHANDLER, AZ

On 10/3/20, at approximately 6:46 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and displayed a weapon. He ordered everyone to get on the ground and then he directed a sales associate to get high-end watches. The subject told the sales associate to hurry and then the subject used an unknown tool to hit the top of the case and shattered the glass. Once the subject had the watches, he said he wanted gold chains. The sales associates had already secured the chains in the safe and the associate informed the subject about that. At that point, the subject fled from the store. The subject was described as a thin Black male in his 20’s. He wore a black face mask, black hoodie, black jeans and white tennis shoes. He was seen leaving in a black or dark colored BMW.  If you have any information regarding this subject, please email the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org .
