CREDIT CARD FRAUD – CHILLICOTHE, OH

On 7/21/18, at approximately 7:40 p.m., two subjects entered a retail jewelry store and inquired about diamond solitaire earrings. One of the subjects looked at several pairs of earrings and selected an item he wanted to purchase. The subject presented a credit card and swiped the card. However, the system failed to read the card. At that point the subject manually entered the card numbers into the credit card terminal. After the transaction, the subject exited the store.

The charge was later determined to be fraudulent. Both subjects were described as 30-year-old Black males. The first subject is 6’3” and weighs 300 lbs. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and jeans. The second subject is 6’4” and weighs 300 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue pullover shirt and jeans.
