DIAMOND SWITCH – ATLANTA, GA

On 10/30/22, a jewelry store was the victim of a diamond switch.  A lone male entered the location and wanted to look at two lab-created diamond engagement rings. The team member took the male to the point of sale to check the prices of two rings.  The team member reviewed prices and the male grabbed one of the rings and walked back toward the showcase.  The team member immediately followed.  The male turned to the team member and said “I gotta go” and handed the team member a ring.

As the male was exiting, the team member realized the ring was a Cubic Zirconia (CZ) with a foreign price tag. The subject was described as a 5’11” Black male in his 30’s. He has a medium build and was last seen wearing a red hoodie, and a medical mask.
