Diamond Switch Couple Arrested

Waco, TX – On September 4, 2017, 35-year-old, David Luis Sixtos turned himself into authorities at the McLennan County Jail. Sixtos and his accomplice, 30-year-old, Ashley Tarango, also arrested, are accused of committing several diamond switches in Oklahoma, Texas and Lousianna.

The suspects pretended to look for wedding rings. Once an item was presented, the male said he had to go to his car to retrieve his wallet. At that point, the female would replace the real ring with a cubic zirconia, before she had to deal with a “sudden emergency.”
