DISTRACTION THEFT – GREENWOOD, IN

On 9/21/21, at approximately 3:50 p.m., a distraction theft occurred at a retail jewelry store.  Two male subjects entered the store and immediately split up, separating team members.  The primary subject requested to see a piece from the back area of a showcase.  As the team member opened the showcase and reached for the requested piece, the suspect reached into the showcase,  grabbed a pair of earrings, and concealed said piece in his pants pocket.  The primary subject then met up with the second male subject and exited the store.  The primary subject is Black, with a medium build, and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a light/gray color short sleeve shirt, dark pants, and white tennis shoes with black and orange designs. The second subject is Black, with a slender build. He is 6’1″.  He was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, dark pants, and a white face mask.
