DISTRACTION THEFT – HARRISBURG, PA

On 6/16/18, at approximately 8:30 p.m., two subjects entered a jewelry store and asked to have their jewelry cleaned. As the jewelry was being cleaned, they asked the sales associate to show them earrings. The subjects compared two different earrings. As the sales associate put one of the earrings back into the case, the second subject asked to see gold chains. Both subjects left the store after their jewelry was cleaned. The subjects were able to surreptitiously conceal the earrings without the associate’s knowledge.

The subjects were both described as White males. One of them appeared to be 16-years-old. He is approximately 6’1″ tall. The other subject is approximately 6’2″ tall. If you have any information regarding these subjects, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
