While doing inventory counts on 2/12/23, the Team Leader identified that over $149 gold category was missing 2 pieces. A case listing showed that the missing items were two 24â€ Gold chains with a total value of $2178.00. A review of CCTV showed that on 2/12/23 at 3:24 pm, an unidentified male and female subject were at the gold case by themselves while all the team members were occupied with other guests. The male was seen making a motion towards the belt area of his pants and using an unidentified tool to gain access to a small open area in the seams of the cases. The female subject is seen blocking the maleâ€™s body while he inserts the tool into the seams. After access is gained the two subjects exit the store. A report was filed with the Pasco County Sheriff for further investigation.
The male subject is Hispanic and between 35-40 Years old. He is 5″8″ and weighs 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, and a grey long-sleeve sweatshirt. The female subject was described as Hispanic. She is between 35-40 years old. She is 160 lbs, and she was last seen wearing a baseball cap, and a long-sleeved grey sweater jacket.
