DISTRACTION THEFT – NOBLESVILLE, IN

On 5/9/21, at approximately 1:04 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and wanted to see bracelets. While the subject was holding a bracelet, he placed it in his left hand which he was also holding a phone in and put it in his pocket. This came after the subject was looking at numerous items and appeared to be trying to confuse sales associates. The theft was identified at a later date after the team leader had time to review the video in detail. The subject was described as a 40-year-old White male. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a baseball cap. He also had tattoos on both arms.
