On 7/29/20, at approximately 2:48 p.m., a Black female subject entered a retail jewelry store and requested to see diamond engagement rings. Seconds later, two Black males entered the store and joined the female. At that point, a sales associate was presenting diamond rings. One of the subjects removed a jacket from his backpack as the female requested to see a certain ring. When the sales associate reached over, the subject placed the jacket over the counter, and he reached in the showcase and removed a pad containing five diamonds, unbeknownst to the sales associate.
