DISTRACTION THEFT – SYRACUSE, NY

On 1/9/21, at approximately 5:30 p.m., several individuals were around a kiosk while a sales associate was assisting a woman who had children with her. When the sales associate had a gold chain and a charm out of the case, the female asked to see another chain and walked to the other side of the kiosk. The sales associate turned and when they turned back the charm could not be found. It is unclear who took the charm as there were several people around the kiosk, however, the female subject or her daughter are believed to have been involved.

The female was described as 5’5″ and Hispanic. She has a heavy build and weighs 180 pounds. She has a fair complexion. She was last seen wearing dark brown hair up in a bun. She has brown eyes and is in her mid 30’s. She was last seen wearing a navy blue winter jacket with red and white on it as well.
