Fugitive getaway driver arrested after fleeing to Mexico

Moore, OK – In early May 2021, 23-year-old Gustavo Rodriguez Jr., was arrested in Houston, TX� for his involvement in a brazen gunpoint robbery that occurred in Moore, OK on January 23, 2020.

On the day of the crime, Rodriguez’s accomplice entered a jewelry store, brandished a handgun, and forced an employee to zip-tie two of her coworkers.� The subject pointed his gun at the employees heads and escaped with over $600,000 in jewelry. Rodriguez Jr., was the getaway driver.
