GOLD CHAIN SWITCH – GLENDALE, AZ

On 1/8/23, at approximately 5:20 p.m., a gold chain switch occurred at a retail jewelry store.  An unknown male and female approached the location and the male expressed interest in a gold chain.  The male subject was handed the gold chain and fumbled with it, returning a different gold chain shortly thereafter.  When the team member recognized it wasn’t the original gold chain she gave the subject, the male subject began to argue and state it was the original chain.  Moments later, the male subject and the female subject ran from the location.

Subject 1: Black male, long black hair tied in braids, black hooded sweatshirt, white Air Force One shoes, tattoo on left side of forehead.

Subject 2: Black female, long brown hair, wearing a grey sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
