GRAB AND RUN – AURORA, OH

On 5/1/22, a retail jeweler was the victim of a grab-and-run theft.  According to management, a single subject entered the store and explained that he was looking for a Mother’s Day gift and he wanted to look at a specific collection.  The subject was shown a 10KW 1/2ct 18″ Diamond Pendant and proceeded to the checkout.  The subject wrote a check and handed over his passport for identification for an authorization code.  Telecheck was called and at this moment the subject said, just process it as cash.  The merchandise was placed on the register and the subject walked outside only to return a few moments later and reach over the counter and took the merchandise along with his passport.  The subject fled in a 4 door white sedan, possibly an Audi.  The subject is Black, 6’0″,  and weighs 170 lbs. He was last seen wearing a Black Nike sweatshirt, shorts, and black tennis shoes.
