On 1/14/22, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and asked to see a specific ring. He then quickly asked to see a chain as well. The associate walked him to the chains and as he tried one on, he asked to see if the ring matched. The associate said she can only allow him to have one item at a time. The subject then set the chain on the counter pad and reached for the ring at the same time, grabbing the chain from the counter pad that was under the associate’s hand, and then he fled from the store. The subject was described as a 30-year-old Black male. He is approximately 5’6″ and weighs 140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black North Face puffer jacket with a red shirt and a black skull cap.
