GRAB AND RUN – EL PASO, TX

On 1/10/22, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a grab and run occurred at a retail jewelry store. A male subject approached a jewelry kiosk inside of a mall and asked to see gold chains. He was shown chains one at a time and then asked to see multiple at once. He was still only allowed to see one at a time. He finally asked for a 24″ chain. He put it on and then said “thanks” and fled with the item. The subject was described as Hispanic and about 20 years old. He wore a black hoodie, black mask, and gray sweats. If you have any information regarding this subject, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org or 212-687-0328.
