GRAB AND RUN – MADISON, AL

On 3/13/2024, at 2:46 p.m., a retail jewelry store was the victim of a grab and run theft. A lone male entered the location under the pretense of shopping for an engagement ring. He proceeded to the bridal cases and was assisted by two team members. He claimed his budget was open and provided a phone number but was reluctant to give any personal information. He pointed to a 2ct Neil Lane lab created diamond.

Once he gained possession, the subject fled the store with the diamond ring. He was observed getting into and driving off in a black Dodge Charger. The subject was in the store for less than 2 minutes. The team members obtained a description of the subject, vehicle, and license tag for police. A report was filed with Madison Police. No injuries were reported.

Subject Description: Male, Black, medium complexion, mid to late 20’s, 5’8”, 275 lbs, black hair and groomed facial hair. He was last seen wearing a bright blue matching jumpsuit, face mask, black socks and flip flops.
