On 3/1/23, at approximately 3:25 p.m., a jewelry kiosk inside a mall experienced a grab and run theft. A subject asked to see a Cuban link gold chain with a pendant. While trying on both pieces, and while the team member was explaining the credit options, the subject ran off with both pieces. Mall Security and the Palmdale Sheriff’s Department were notified whereupon an investigation was initiated. The subject was described as a 23-year-old Black male. He is 5’6”, and weighs 140 lbs. He has medium-length dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve with a black shirt over it with a $ sign on the back, and white/black tennis shoes. If you have any information regarding this subject, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at or 212-687-0328.
