On 7/19/22, between 2:20 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., a jewelry store was the victim of a grab and run theft.  According to management, a single subject entered the store and stated that he was looking for an engagement ring so that he could propose that weekend.  The subject was assisted at the display case containing engagement rings.  He picked out two rings and then wanted to look at diamond earrings.  The employee maintained possession of the rings while the other employee cleaned the earrings. The subject went back to the employee who had the rings and the other employee laid down the earrings on the counter after they were cleaned.  The subject stated that he wanted to look at the rings again and they were handed over to the subject, who then picked up the earrings and fled the store on foot.  The subject was described as Black, 6’0″, with an athletic build. He is bald and was last seen wearing a grey Nike t-shirt, grey Nike shorts, and white tennis shoes.
