GRAB AND RUN – TACOMA, WA

On 3/2/2024, at 4:20 p.m., a grab and run occurred at a retail jewelry store. An unknown male entered the location and expressed interest in gold chains. The subject requested to view a gold chain, and once it was removed from the showcase, the subject grabbed the gold chain and ran from the store. Mall Security and the Tacoma Police Department were contacted. No injuries were reported. The subject was described as a Black male. He is in his mid to late-20’s and is approximately 6’1″ – 6’2″ with a thin build. He has long black hair, a black beard, and was last seen wearing a light blue hat, a black jacket with a fur hood, black pants, and white shoes.
