GRAB AND RUN – VERO BEACH, FL

On 3/1/22, at approximately 6:53 p.m. an unidentified male subject entered a retail jewelry store and stated he was looking for a gift for his Father‘s birthday and made his way to men’s rings. Once at the rings section, he selected a ring and asked to try it on. Once on his finger, he proceeds to take a picture of the ring, states he likes it, and asks to try an additional ring on. The team member removed the additional ring he requested but informed him she could only show him one item at a time and requested the first ring back, which he still had on his finger. At this time, the subject grabbed the team member’s hand to get the second ring, but she was able to hold onto it, and he then fled out the door into the parking lot with the first ring still on his finger. The subject is Black, 6’1″, and weighs 210 lbs. He is in his mid to late 20s and was last seen wearing a mint green long sleeve shirt with a state of Florida flag on the front. He also wore a baseball cap and black sweat pants. If you have any information regarding these subjects, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org or 212-687-0328.
