GRAB & RUN – ESCONDIDO, CA

On 7/15/21, at approximately 5:15 p.m, a subject entered a jewelry store and indicated he wanted to view chains.  As the subject was on the phone and mumbling while speaking into the phone, the associate handed him a chain.  As the subject grabbed the chain, he threw it in the air, caught it, then took off running with it outside the mall.  The subject was described as a Black male in his mid 20’s to early 30’s. He is 5’10”, and has a medium build.  He was last seen wearing a grey Kangol hat, a blue long sleeve v-neck sweater vest, and grey pants.  He also has black dreadlocks stuffed under his hat.
