GRAB & RUN – EVANSVILLE, IN

The subject entered the store and window shopped for approximately 30 minutes since team members were with other guests.  The subject also stated he wanted to waste time while waiting for his girlfriend to get off work.  At the bridal case the subject wanted to see several rings, which were shown by the team member.  While holding one bridal set, he wanted to compare it with another and then asked about a third piece in the showcase.  As the team member was getting the third piece the subject grabbed both from her hand and ran with them along with the one he was holding.  The police were called and a report was filed.  There were also finger prints obtained. The subject was described as a 50-year-old Black male. He is 5’10”, and weighs 195 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue cap, and a white shirt that had bears on the front. The shirt also had the script “Polar Bears” on it. The subject was also wearing red sweat shorts.
