GRAB & RUN – HOUSTON, TX

On 1/6/22, at approximately 3:47 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and walked around for a few minutes before leaving. He returned about 10 minutes later and asked about 2-carat earrings. The subject was shown some of the store’s lab-created diamond earrings, but he wanted something with natural stones. He was then shown natural diamond earrings. The possibility of using larger stones from the solitaire rings was discussed with the subject who then wanted to see the certified diamond rings. While the subject was looking at a ring, he asked to see another one for comparison. When he was handed the second ring, he fled from the store.  The subject was described as Black, 6’1″, and 25 years old. He has a thin build and a long beard. He was last seen wearing a navy blue polo hat with the jockey and #3 in white. He also wore a blue polo short sleeve shirt, black running pants, black Jordans, and a mask.
