On 9/17/20, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and asked to see a matching engagement set and to take a photo of it. When the manager placed the items on a display finger and presented it to the subject, the subject grabbed the items out of the manager’s hand. He then fled from the store. After exiting the mall, the subject ran past an officer that was arriving for a different complaint. The officer pursued and apprehended the subject after a short vehicle chase. The subject was described as a 6’1″ Black male. He has an athletic build and tattoos covering both arms.
