GRAB & RUN – TUKWILA, WA

On 9/16/21, at approximately 4:05 p.m., a grab and run theft occurred at a retail jewelry store.  Two subjects approached the store and expressed interest in browsing gold bracelets and gold pendants.  Subject #1 requested to see the gold bracelet, while subject #2 requested to see the gold pendant.  As both subjects held each item, the associate working requested the items back to ring them up for purchase.  Subject #1 stated “well we gotta go” as both subjects ran from the store with merchandise in their possession.  Mall security and the Tukwila Police Department were contacted.  There were no injuries to associates or customers.

Both subjects were described as Black males, in their late-teens to early-20’s with medium builds. The first subject is approximately 5’6″. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. The second subject is 5’7″. He was last seen wearing a black/white jacket, a white t-shirt, and red sweatpants. If you have any information regarding these subjects, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelessecrity.org or 212=687-0328.
