International gold thief arrested, extradited, then released

Rockville, MD – On June 13, 2022, a 32-year-old international gold thief was extradited from Lubbock, TX to Rockville, MD. The suspect, identified as Mircea Lucaci, had been wanted for stealing gold from a coin shop in August 2022.
