Jeweler charged after selling fake jewelry

On the date listed above, 37-year-old  jeweler, David Aaron Kushner, was arrested at his home in Aurora, CO.  On January 9, 2018, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Adam’s County, accused Kushnir of stealing gold, jewelry and money from customers at his business. They also accused Kushnir of selling fake diamonds to three people.

Before Kushner’s business shut down, one of his victims recounted how she brought her high-end watch into Kushnir’s store for repair. Kushnir allegedly swapped out expensive parts of the watch with cheaper imitations. Kushnir is accused of defrauding customers out of nearly $150,000 worth of jewelry over the course of several years.
