ROBBERS ARRESTED AFTER PURSUIT – KALAMAZOO, MI

On 10/5/19, at approximately 8:00 p.m., three subjects entered a jewelry store and began smashing display cases. They then grabbed jewelry and fled. After the subjects left the store, law enforcement was alerted to the description of their getaway vehicles; one of which was a lookout vehicle. At approximately 2:30 a.m., on October 6, the vehicles were spotted in Jackson County Michigan. A Michigan State Police Aviation helicopter was used to assist in the arrests of the subjects.

According to Michigan State Police Lt. Brian Oleksyk, one of the vehicles utilized by the subjects was stopped on the I-94 Highway. Law enforcement proceeded to get into a pursuit of another vehicle. That vehicle crashed in or near the city of Detroit. Three subjects were arrested.
