ROBBERY – DAYTONA BEACH, FL

On 6/25/22, at approximately 10:00 a.m, a robbery occurred at a jewelry kiosk inside a mall. After arriving at the location, the team member proceeded to open the gold showcase when the subject jumped over the gate and pushed her away from the showcase. He reached in and grabbed chains and bracelets, and the team member yelled at him to leave. At that point, the subject stated he had pepper spray and grabbed more merchandise. Two mall employees saw the theft-in-progress, yelled at the subject, and he ran from the store. The subject was identified as an ex-mall employee. The subject was described as a Black Male. He is 20 years old, 5’10”, and thin.
