Robbery suspect sentenced to 96 years in prison

Lone Tree, CO – On May 12, 2017, 28-year-old Deshawn McDonald was sentenced for his involvement in a smash and grab robbery in Lone Tree, CO in 2015.

On August 20, 2015, McDonald and three accomplices, used sledgehammers to break into display cases. The suspects traveled from Detroit, MI to commit the crime.

They stole a total of 14 high-end watches worth more than $280,000.

While deliberating the sentence, Judge David Stevens found McDonald to be a habitual criminal.
