Security guard fires shots at grab & run thief

Kimberly, WI – On March 28, 2022, at approximately 2:00 p.m, a male subject entered a jewelry store and then stole bullion of gold by committing a grab and run. ‘The store’s armed private security guard chased the subject. The subject got into a car. The security guard then said it appeared the driver was trying to run him over.

The guard fired 3 shots at the car, but the driver put the car in reverse and fled. A 37-year-old subject was arrested later that day. It is unknown whether the driver of the vehicle is being sought or not.
