SMASH AND GRAB – YUBA CITY, CA

On 7/23/23, at 12:00 p.m., a smash and grab robbery occurred at a retail jewelry store.  Two subjects approached from the mall, with the first subject pulling out a crowbar and beginning to repeatedly smash two gold showcases.  As the first subject continued to hit the showcases, the second subject held open a backpack as the first subject removed items from both showcases.  After removing the contents of both showcases, both subjects fled from the location. There were no injuries to team members or guests.  This group is possibly connected to recent smash and grab armed robberies in Southern California in June and July 2023.
