KNIFEPOINT ROBBERY – GREENSBORO, NC

On 7/26/18, at approximately 6:21 p.m., a male subject approached an employee of a retail jewelry store as he was walking towards his car. The subject demanded the employee give him money. The subject then brandished a knife. The employee refused to give him money. After a brief verbal exchange, the subject fled from the scene with no money. The employee was not harmed. According to law enforcement, there were five other similar incidents in the area and it may have been part of a gang initiation. The subject was described as a 5’6″, 130-pound Black male. He appeared to be on some sort of drug.
