SMASH & GRAB – MANSFIELD, TX

Four subjects entered a jewelry store and walked immediately to the gold cases. Within seconds of entry, one of the subjects pulled a hammer from the waistband of his pants and began smashing the gold cases. Two subjects also kicked the cases until the glass began breaking. The subjects began grabbing the gold along with a few elements and then fled the location. The subjects were in the store for approximately 45 seconds. It is believed this team had a scout that was in the location approximately 30 minutes prior to the incident. This subject was observed taking pictures of the cases. All four subjects and the scout were described as Black males. The four subjects are in their early twenties.

Subject (s) Description:
The first subject has a stocky build. He is 5’8 to 5’9″ and was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a red design on the front, a brown stocking cap, and a mask. He also wore dark pants with dark shoes.

The second subject is 5’8″ and has a thin to medium build. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve sweatshirt with a design, white tennis shoes, a dark stocking hat, and a mask

The third subject is 5’9″ to 5’10”, and heavyset He was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeve hoody style shirt, white pants, and a mask.

The fourth subject is believed to be 5’9″. He wore a blue/dark-colored hat, baggy hoody style shirt, and dark baggy shorts.
