On 8/23/19, at approximately 6:26 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and shortly thereafter, a second male subject entered the store. Both subjects exhibited suspicious behaviors. Both were reluctant to remove their hands from their pockets. They were also unwilling to make eye contact or engage in conversation with associates. The sales associates made several attempts to assist and offer credit, but neither subject was interested in assistance. Shortly thereafter, both subjects stood close to each other in front of a showcase. Once they were separated, the first subject removed a hammer and began smashing the display case. His accomplice went back to the case to assist him. The subjects grabbed men’s rings and then fled from the store. Both subjects were described as Black males in their early to mid-twenties with thin builds. They both wore Black Nike pants with Nike t-shirts. The first subject is 5’11” and wore a black hat with a white design. The second subject wore a black hat with a red design.
