SMASH & GRAB ROBBERY – ORLANDO, FL

On 6/30/21,  a team member who was closing the store alone left for the restroom at approximately 7:40 p.m., and upon her return found one showcase smashed. Nine chains had been stolen off a display board. Mall security had responded after hearing glass smashed and from a distance saw the subject. After being yelled at, the subject fled and mall security gave chase, but without success. The incident was also witnessed by an employee of another store. Witnesses reported the subject used a hammer to smash the showcase. The subject was described as a Black male. He is approximately 27-years-old and is 5’10”. He has a medium to athletic build, light complexion, and was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black shorts, a dark flat hat with a brim, and blue and white sneakers.
