SMASH & GRAB – SANDUSKY, OH

On 9/23/19, at approximately 7:45 p.m., at least five young men entered a jewelry store and examined a display case containing rings. When the sales associate asked if they needed assistance, the male subject used a hammer and began hitting the showcase. The subjects then all reached into the case and grabbed as much merchandise as they could. They then fled from the store. The subjects were described as five; possibly six, young Black males.
